A TRIP TO THE DOCTORS'

 We hope you enjoy it! A few days ago, Grace went to the doctor's   because they think she is allergic to tomatoes. So, we took her to the allergist to see if she is really allergic. Mom and Dad went with her. When they got there, they went in and saw the doctor and talked to him for a little while. Then, they went in a room and talked and talked and talked and then a nurse came in and  poked Gracie with  3 little needles!!!!!!                                        One of the spots she poked got red and the doctor came in and looked at it and then said, "OK, you can go now.. good bye." Then, he  said that one of the pokes he had made  red (by injecting histamines) so he could compare it with one that had a   little bit of tomato in it.  We did not find out if Gracie was allergic yet. She had to take 2 more  tests to find out. She has taken a blood test and is waiting for the results. If they are negative, then the final test is that she will go back in to the allergist and EAT a tomato while the staff keeps a close eye on her! SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
