Garden~ (There is post below this one)

Guess what?
Instead of having our own garden this year  we will be helping our neighbor
 take care of hers;since she is too sick to take  care of it herself,
 and so our mom said that we could use hers to plant some seeds of our own.
we agreed to have 4-5 different kinds of seeds for our first time,
we already have squash seeds to plant and our mom has some carrot seeds,
does any one have any ideas of some other seeds that are easy for beginner gardeners
to try to plant?
We are also planting Marigolds and Babiesbeath to plant along a dirt side walk
or path leading  to all the plants...
we are REALLY excited..
