TORNADO!

Greetings friends!!!!
We have  had quite a shock this week...
On Monday,May 27th or 26th ;
we were hit by a tornado!!
It was right at dinner..It was raining and  we had just sat down to some soup and  said grace
when the rain turned into hail and then that turned into lighting then that turned into thunder then the
rain, hail, lighting, and thunder and tremendous winds all struck at once!!!
We  went to the basement to keep safe..
WE were not hurt but our yard was a mess!!!
But unfortunately, our sister,Christine, got it worse then us..
Her roof has HUGE holes in it. Her windows are shattered.
But her husband Brad and their landlord are rebuilding it.
Though they are OK now it was a shock!!Isn't it amazing  to think of what wind can do????

A Few Thoughts

Hi!

We were a little busy this week.
We hope you have been enjoying our blog!We have had this blog for 2 years now!
 And we like it more and more everyday!Do you like writing books?We do!
 Our big sister Laura likes writing books too!
Our Mom is getting a book published!We are all happy for her!
 It is called:I Surrender!
 Mother's day is coming!YAY!
 We love our Mom!And before we go we would like to say a few things that we are thankful for Mother's.


1.They are awesome.
 2.They make you fell better when you are sad.
 3.God made them for you!

This is an exciting book about a boy who finds an ancient  cave full of Indian relics.

He also has a lot of  exciting adventures;even though one of them is a little sneaky...but it's for a good cause...he wants to help his grandpa!

This one of my favorites!

Here's one that I personally  enjoyed!

This book is about LAURA'S daughter  Rose 

Rose,Laura and Almanzo live in the town of the Ozarks 

Rose is at first not liking living in town being used to the country that she 

used to live in,but then she falls in Love with Paul..

I loved this book and I'm sure you will too!

I'm a big Narnia fan. It's a very exciting book. I mostly enjoy it because it's full of action and mysteries.When the Ice Witch attacks, Narnia Lucy, Susan, Peter and Edmund are brought by magic to save the Narnians. Will they succeed?...Read the book to find out! CS Lewis wrote the stories but this book is a version where all the stories are in ONE book!

"The Cottage at Bantry Bay"

This is a wonderful book about a family (mainly the children) that go on adventures full of discoveries, hiding in caves, and running for their lives from bulls!!
READ THE BOOK to partake in the adventures of these children :)
Our mom read this out loud to our whole family and we all LOVED it! We are hoping to get more books from this series!

Please read this book! It's great!



"Because of Winn Dixie"

This is a wonderful story about a girl who needs a friend. She runs into this dog, whom she names Winn Dixie. Read about their fun adventures and meet new friends in the pages of this book!




"Nellie's Promise"
(An American Girl book)

This book is about a girl named Nellie, who must struggle to keep her promises to her orphan sisters.
This is a good story...I recommend it for you :)

A Busy Week!!

Hi Everyone!
How have you been?
We have one busy week!!
Our brother Jake went to the Emergency Room yesterday for stitches
from a knife wound!
That was a shock!
Palm Sunday was two days ago
Laura and Jacob are in a Passion Play at Church
5 more days until Easter
WHOOSH!!!
What do you do to celebrate Easter?
We Usually:
Go to Mass in the morning come home snack a little
from our Easter Baskets
YUM!!!!!
Dye some colorful eggs[sometimes we do this the day before though]
Eat a FEAST
and then read the Resurrection story from the bible
[Luke 24]

Well,gotta go :]
So have a peaceful and holy week
and a joyful Easter Sunday
