Religious Freedom walk 2012

if you read one our recent  posts,our brother and sister went on a 100 mile walk to stand up for     Religious Freedom.
they started eight days ago and returned yesterday, in baltimore.
they are sore, blistered, and tired but are also proud.
below is a banner our sister Laura  designed for there walk .

we are sorry that we had to cut this post rather short but we have                                                           some chores we dident finish so

100 mile walk for Religious Freedom..and three cool links

Our parish is going on a 100 mile walk for Religious Freedom.
Our brother and sister Laura(from Laura's Layout)and Jacob are going with 15-20other people..
their starting point is St.Peter Catholic Church,Hancock MD and they are going to walk 100 miles all
the way to Baltimore to a Basilica there..

Please keep the pilgirms in your prayers for the eight days they are  gone.

Whats up with the weather?

Hey everyone!Our weather here is all mixed up!One day is cold and then the other day its burning hot!
whats up?Everyday we plan to go swimming its cold and everyday we get ready for coldness its hot!
 its crazy!All we want is for it to be hot in the summer and cold in the winter![And breezy in the spring]LOL!

11 things about our life,

1] we have10 siblings (including us)

2]we have two dogs named Jack and Thunder

3] we go to Mass at a Catholic church each Sunday and on 
Holy days or Days of Obligation..

4]we home school

5]our favorite hobbies are blogging,playing sports ,shopping,reading,
drawing,writing short stories and poems  and cooking!!


6]we have 3 nieces and 1 nephew


7]we live in Pennsylvania in a house in the woods


8]we have a girls club called "The JMJ Girls Club"


9]once a month we have a partyish stay up night with our dad and 
older brother

10]every kid has a certain 'morning chore' each day before school


11]we have 24 acres of land surrounded with God's Glory and beautiful
nature

Mom's Questions for us

1] Do you have only one favorite color or does your favorite color change?
And, what IS your favorite color TODAY? 


Mary's answer:My favorite color changes depending on the season and 
my favorite color today is....
lime green and a dark but bright pink

Grace:My favorite colors does not change and my favorite colors are
red and a highlighted pink
 

2) If you could meet someone from history and have lunch and good conversation with them, whom would you want to meet and why?   

Mary:I would meet a pioneer because  they basically started America .

Grace: I would want to meet Amelia Earhart because she is daring spunky and smart
  
3) What is your favorite movie?

Mary: I'm the same as Grace I have tons of favorites but my most favorite would either be The Secret of Moonacre or Inkheart.
  
Grace: I have lots of favorite movies but one of them are Because of Winn Dixie
 
4) What is something you have learned about yourself this year?
 
Mary: I've always been scared of boats since i was 4yrs when i went on a camping trip, but i learned that i'm scared of stink bugs too, I also learned that i like writing about a made up story about a real Person  or saint.

Grace:That i am terrified of deep water and boats!!!!lol

5) What is your favorite time, place, way to pray?

 Mary:I like to pray the Hail Holy Queen prayer outside in the springtime.


Grace: My favorite place to pray is in a chapel at10am in the spring time
and i like to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet

6) Are you a soup/salad/sandwich type person or a lavish full 3 course meal type?


Mary: uhhhh,probably unlike Grace I'm more of a lavish meal type!!LOL

Grace: Im more of a soup salad and sandwich type!!

7) What is one of your most favorite gifts that you have ever received?
 
Mary:A Cross for my first communion that my Pap gave me.

Grace: I got a 'ripstik' for Christmas and that was about the happiest day of my life!!! lol!

8) Which of the four seasons do you enjoy most?

Mary: Spring.

Grace: Spring and summer

9) Which Liturgical Season of the Church do you most enjoy?


Mary: The Easter Season

10) If you had an entire day to yourself, what are 3 things you would do?

Mary:I would go to a library,then to a pizza place than shopping at Macy's

Grace: go to a museum,have fun at a friends house,and go swimming..

11) What has been your favorite book, so far, this year?

Mary: The Titanic Series

 Grace: Pinocchio.
